A DAY AT THE CLUB

by michaelschulze

I come to the club quite regularly and they try to take my money of me when i play their games you see

But i have someone helping me lady luck seems to smile on me

The staff at the club don't mind it's not there money you see

But the management seem to think differently no sense of humor when it comes to me

The club payes for my lunch they pay for my tea and enough drinks to satisfy me and still have money left to pay me

There seems no end to this generosity . Well i think it's time to go home now before they get to upset with me

This was a great little poem. The elevation of the mundane to an art form was ingenious. The rhyme and meter was spectacular. I loved it. Great poem!!
