Sometimes the kettle boils over

COPPER POT

A copper pot inside me

Boiled my core

Steam rising

The moment I walked through the door

Before even hello

They were begging for more

We want,

We want, We want,

We want, We want, We want,

Anger spewed from my pores

Now I sit inside this cellblock

And dwell on that night

All the whisky, all the beer

Had me itching for a fight

The jury gave no mercy

They did what was right

I'll soon be sitting in a chair

Forced to see the light
