She doesn’t leave her rings behind.
They are her shield, her home and her prison, simultaneously.
They guard her against the universe, and the universe from her.
She’s one of the nearest, so I can actually see her.
She’s gracious, orchestrating the spectacle that is the orbiting of her rings.
Still, she has flaws. I don’t think she actually sees the universe.
The rings block too much of her view, and the good things don’t actually reach her eyes.
She doesn’t deem most of the universe worthy, so she stays behind her rings, stays with us in the background.
- such a shame, they should see our bit of the universe.
