Beware! This bridge will play tricks on your mind And that gangster lived his life as a clown

The Cursed Bridge

Beware! This bridge will play tricks on your mind

And that gangster lived his life as a clown

A murderer or mystic you may be

You're missing, bankrupt, and back on the streets

As I marvel over these London clouds

The gangsters got to keep a low profile

A windowless abode to rest my feet

And another one succumbed to the bridge

Dragonslayers may once have existed

How many bodies paved under the street?

It's plagues and earthquakes followed by disease

The allure of that bridge, can I resist?

Mystics make up stories of every kind

Bankrupt of morals, it's all been a lie

London clouds again covered by darkness

Perhaps the clown can teach me just one trick

And its on this bridge that many will die

Perfect world I remember as a child

Can I visit this place once in a while?

Fascinate, the human will to survive
