I eventually accepted Yoongi’s apology and we began to work on our project. After about two and a half hours, we heard the front door open.
“Oh!” Yoongi said, climbing off his bed, and going to his door as I sat up.
“Is your mom home?” I asked, as I followed Yoongi up the stairs, and towards the kitchen.
He nodded, and sure enough, when we turned the corner, a woman slightly shorter than Yoongi was standing at the stove, cooking what looked and smelled like kimchi.
“Mom.” Yoongi said, giving her a swift kiss on her cheek, making her smile sweetly.
“Yoongi. I thought about you a lot today.” She said, not noticing me, as I stood by the sliding glass door, that led to a balcony.
“I ran into your friends Jin and Namjoon, and invited them over for dinner tomorrow night.” I saw Yoongi give his mom a gummy smile, which made me smile.
“Can you make enough dinner tonight for three?” Yoongi asked, and his mom nodded. Yoongi then turned to me, and motioned me forward. I shuffled forward slightly, nervous.
“Oh! Hello!” Yoongi’s mom said, when Yoongi introduced me.
“Hi ma’am.” I said, and she smiled at me.
