by luxabi

i try to find the words but my mind just won't let me

and my heart is screaming out

in desperate cries

locked inside a cage of my own memories

will i ever find a peace of mind?

and from here i see the view, so clearly

but whether it's a view or not– i'm uncertain

i see his eyes adore her dearly

and i beg my heart to forget him

i come to a sense of closure

that all my dejected remarks

could only stem from my exposure

to his solitary heart

The boy you love, adoring another girl; one of the most hurtful things in life. This poem is nice, I love it!

Convincing your mind that you deserve closure is the easy part getting your mind to convince your heart is another matter entirely your heart may play along until your eyes once more see the person responsible that's where the battle begins all over again Nice poem
