Hayley was lying in bed on her phone, scrolling through Twitter. She glances through the 'LGBTQ' tag that usually appears on Sundays and looks through a few peoples pictures before she stops at a girl named Alyssa Dominguez's page. Hayley already had heart eyes for this girl, but hell, she knew nothing about her! If she was determined to get to know Alyssa, she would have to step up her game. She decided to send Alyssa a direct message: "Hello, you're very pretty! How are you today?" Hayley anxiously awaited a response. Of course, she didn't want to make herself seem too needy, so she played it cool when within about five minutes, Alyssa responded. "Hey, I'm doing alright. You're not too bad yourself." Hayley could feel her cheeks becoming red as she smiled through her phone. "So, where are you from?" Alyssa asked Hayley. "Well, I'm from Nebraska. What about you?" Alyssa sucked in a deep breath before responding. "I'm from California. Oh, and I'm in the military. I hope that isn't going to be an issue for you." Hayley could almost feel her heart being shattered into a million pieces. "Oh, no. No problem at all!" She wrote back and as soon as she did Hayley automatically put her phone on do not disturb for the rest of the evening, she was crushed.  "Hayley, dinner!" She groaned as she heard her mother holler from downstairs. 'I guess I better get up and eat something before she gets angry with me.' Sighing, Hayley put on her slippers and made her way downstairs. For dinner her mother had fixed spaghetti and meatball, Hayley's favorite. She ate very little and afterwards, Hayley made her way upstairs, to soak in her sorrow. God, why does she have to live so far away?! Why does this have to happen to me? "I'm fine, everything will be alright" Hayley said to herself as she turned on her TV and Firestick heading to Netflix to watch some Orange Is The New Black to hopefully take her mind off of things.  A few hours later, Hayley finally decides to glance at her phone before heading to bed. She was amazed at what she saw, about ten messages from Alyssa, asking her if she would still like to chat or not, or what was going to happen from here on out? Hayley was so overwhelmed with happiness that she wasn't sure how to respond! After taking a few deep breaths, Hayley responded: "Hey, I definitely would still like to chat and get to know each other. I apologize it took me so long to respond, I've been napping."  And with that, Hayley fell into a deep sleep with a genuine smile plastered on her face.

What happens when Hayley and Alyssa meet online. Will sparks fly? Or will they deteriorate before they’ve even begun?
