Sweating like I ran a marathon and shaking violently I wake up in complete darkness in a loud gasp. It takes me a moment to figure out where I am.

Those captivating dark ocean blue eyes. That's the last thing I see. That voice of silk, scream-crying my name and the ocean waves crashing onto the shore is the last thing I hear.

You loved me like there was no tomorrow. Like we'd die today. You wraped your arms around me then hug or hold me as though I'm too far away. Like you can't be close enough.

Why did he leave me? Why did he stray?

Or at least he appeared to be. My shock was ephemeral because in instant I was by his side, screaming for him to wake up and pulling him out of the bathtub with all my might.

His house was just three short blocks from mine but running there felt like it was marathons away. I didn't knock when I stepped in front of the door, nor did I hesitate to run in.
