She was laying there with her eyes wide open. Her arms felt heavy and her chest seemed stuck on the very same second repeatedly. He was crying. Pure tears. He was desperate.
Her green eyes stared at the open window and her mind was gone. She was gone. He knew he did it. He could hold her face and look into those lenses all he wanted, but she was gone and he did it.
He couldn’t see anything through. Her eyes weren’t black or white, but rather foggy. No light. Lost. He would grab her hands and ask for forgiveness but she was gone. And he wanted to go now.
Rivers of tears flooded his cheeks as he sobbed but all she could hear was the silent sound of her heart breaking. Over and over and over again. So that’s how it felt.
Something still alive on her brain let her know exactly how it felt to get her heart broken so violently she could never mend it again.
