Billions of people cover the world,
But I am just a plain old girl.
A grain of sand on a beach a mile long,
A single note in a collection of songs.
A small percentage of everyone,
The weight of a feather versus one hundred tons.
Small but mighty, I have power too.
Plain as I am, I can still do anything I want to do.
I matter more than it would seem,
My plans are big, as are my dreams.
Anyone can make a change if they take a stand,
A big difference in the world.
We may be strong when we gather hand in hand,
But even alone we still can,
Make change, make a difference, make new hope,
For a country, for the world, or just for a plain old girl.
