a kind of poem like thing about love and relationships

Darling

by lindentrees

the syrup of your smile, it's spilling over my skin, soothes my weary mind, oh, where do you begin?

I'm losing myself in you, yet I can't bring myself to care. I can't tell where you end anymore, oh, where do I begin?

Love is what we seem to share, though I can never win, struggling with myself is hard, oh, where do you begin?

You look at me and encase me, dreamily I stare, and you never stop to ask me oh, where do I begin?

I can't see through all these rainy days you always smile keeping sadness at bay so please oh darling

don't show me where I end. Tell me that you'll stay.

The Far Shore
A poem about a journey. It even kind of rhymes.
