Write your pain across your body and all will see it there

You paint your pain upon yourself, Your body is a canvas

You break it, bend it shrink it stretch it rip it into pieces

You never found the words to tell them How you really felt

And so you drew it, plain to see In purples, blues and reds

But now you’ve been too long with this They look at nothing else

You almost have the strength to tell of how you really feel But it’s too late, now no one thinks to listen to your voice

You stumble over all the things you’ve held in for so long But no one hears, they only check the canvas for your pain And smile at its blank white face Dismiss your growing fear
