A piece I'm working on about based the titan who fell in love with heaven.

Atlas / Heaven

I'm tired.

I'm tired of my wrongdoings.

My own body mixed with flesh and soil, dirt and brawn.

I feel my body stiff and my legs numb,

the actions I made caused my own end.

The great man that I was once was is now gone.

My name tarnished as my own body fades.

They do not care who I am anymore.

I am merely a slave to my wrongdoings, a prisoner to my past sins.

I am merely a slave to my wrongdoings, a prisoner to my past sins. I feel unseen, unheard.

I feel unwanted, I feel unloved.

I looked up with dismay of what I have caused,

and I saw you.

You are the embodiment of beautiful symphonies,

You are the embodiment of beautiful symphonies, glistening stars,

You are the embodiment of beautiful symphonies, glistening stars, and elegant sunsets.

You brushed off my doubts and painted a picture of hope for me.

You had every right to be called a heavenly body.

You were more, so much more than any admiration I could say.

You are, heaven.

And I know that whatever I'm doing, I'm doing it for you.
