Patience has it's limit

A SPOONFUL

A Spoonful

The measure of your offenses

I pour it in my pretty jar And keep it locked

I'm not holding grudges

My patient heart is large

It'll expand for you

A spoonful

The measure of my pains, tears and agony

I pour it in my pretty jar And keep it sealed

Can't give room for emotions

Chin up, Bright smiles

I'll put up with you

A spoonful

The measure of your debt

I pour it in my pretty jar And keep it closed

Your unfulfilled promises

I'll forget them all

I've learnt not to be expectant

A spoonful

The measures are running over

I poured once but now the jar returns

Can't keep it locked, sealed or closed anymore

My pained heart is full and has expanded too wide for you

It has burst now, it's content spilled

But now I seem to be the bad one
