The future is a curious thing and many a day I find myself gazing into my looking glass pondering what will be and what has been. At one point what has been was what is, and what will be. Confusing I know, people tell me I ramble on too much. Perhaps an introduction is in order. My name is Philip and I am the world's youngest seer. I was given my looking glass after my mother, the wisest and most trusted seer passed away, and was forced to learn her ways and take her place. Some say being able to see into the future is a gift but I call it a curse. I often find it hard to distinguish future from present to what has already passed, but they don’t care that I am slowly losing my sense of time. All the nobles care about is, will they become richer or prettier and I must admit on occasion I do mess with them and tell them exactly what they do not wish to hear. I am still but a boy and I do enjoy a good deal of mischief.
