Ever since I was a kid, I as curious
I enjoyed being outdoors. Looking at anything I saw. Nothing special in school but I did alright.
I was never the smartest person in the room
But quickly learned that this was actually my secret weapon
While everybody else learned math. I learned curiousity
When everybody learned physics. I learned to learn.
This was my ultimate trump card.
I didn't "need" school to teach me anything. I could trade in my learning for any skill or knowledge.
While many can't get through Coursera
I thrive on online courses and the like. I thrive on books. I can't live without them.
I may have started slower
but my learning curve was exponential from there. Something most can't say
Learning to learn was the best decision of my life
