I started live streaming and met a wordpress developer, then I joined a webRTC platform and fell in love with one. They push me to try new things in technology and it's wonderful.

Having Developer Friends

by lelper

As a direct result of gaining developer friends

only 5 months ago, mind you...

I consider myself a "link snob"

because I learned to use bitly branded short domains

I discovered blab.im

which has led to lots of awesome connections

I work for a startup

and putting out fires every day is fun

I joined Product Hunt

to get more involved in the tech community. I found like 5 cool products in the first 10 minutes there.

My very minimal coding experience impresses them

and I keep telling myself I want to really learn to code someday.

@sydney Oh i understand now. That's a good idea. It depends on what kind of content you're looking for. There is a tech show called #TechLunch and there are still VCs and founders being brought on once a week for the Pitchcraft show where startups do a practice pitch to a VC and get their Q's answered both shows are on thursdays and have @sol (@SolfromBrooklyn on Twitter) as a host.

@lelper makes sense :) I mean more like how one should get the most value out of blab. I've used it before. A couple of times when a few VCs and founders I follow started using it. And then for Product Hunt Live which recently started using blab too. I don't find myself just going to blab though, perhaps I should!

@sydney it would be way easier to just get on blab to teach you how to use blab lol :) or read one of the guides listed in the blablet. I'm more than willing to do that if you'd like to. @tango that would be interesting. Ours is focusing on solutions for companies as basis to develop other ideas.

@lelper fantastic! if you ever end up picking up more code let me know :) have some resources that could be useful depending on what you're trying to learn. You should totally make a post about how to use Blab! I'm personally pretty curious

@lelper that's awesome! Making websites is a lot of fun and sounds useful for the dev studio you're at!

@lentis hahaha I know how to cut and paste generated codes and how to write HTML links and basic text formatting, and last spring I had to code a 3 page site in HTML for a computer class I was taking.

@sydney Blab is my life! lol jk but I love the community on there, even so much as to create a resource I thought would help the community: http://lela.im/theblablet and blab is how my startup got together! The PH community seems pretty cool and I enjoy looking at all the cool sites and apps people are finding. @tango My startup is a development studio and we will be shipping our first product pretty soon. @lalgsw Hmm the most interesting thing i've found so far was CNVERG, https://www.producthunt.c... it's a way to visually organize projects.

Very minimal hahahaha. How much coding is that?
