She, after a second’s hesitation, remained poised in an expressionless tone,

She was her history; the daughter who came to ruin.

She was her history; the daughter who came to ruin. She was doomed to disappointment,

She was her history; the daughter who came to ruin. She was doomed to disappointment, remarking merely her father’s misfortunes.

You cannot blame the light.

You know to whisper.

You should resolve, not cause.
