This is a little old. But personal nonetheless

Abandon ship

by lbingamen

Man overboard, code red This guy has went and lost his head

We used to love the night too much to go to bed

But now he's abandoning ship with a foot full of lead

He can't watch a ship sink again

He hasn't been the same since he misplaced his seratonin

Don't know a single thing he wants Between the screaming and the moaning

But he is leaving what we built behind And he is finally unloading

Because our love was a ship and I am the ocean

He comes alive at night and I lose him through the day I try and revive him everytime he gets this way

But he is just a man who built a faulty ship

And I am the ocean choking down all of it
