I'm that yellow dot bobbing in the crowd
Throbbing in the tide
Trying to keep my head up
Sometimes I try to keep up so much
That my head hurts, and so do my feet
From running so hard.
Sometimes I allow the crowd to push me around
Bump, stomp, they dump me
Out in the cold. But I don't do anything about it.
And sometimes I grow claustrophobic
And I wrap my arms around myself,
The lower my head, the faster I go
Trying to get away.
But when I dream
I see me
Striding in the crowd
Smiling at the crowd
Sliding on the crowd
Like I'm on a cloud
How happy I am, as I look back at them
Hold hands with them, hug them
And then I WaKE uP
