My heart is in cracks
But that's good, because
It allows God's liquid presence to flow through
God, when I am broken,
You fill me up.
I'm so thankful that I can take
Each moment getting closer to my Lord
Getting stronger, my cracks now a lovely design
That twists and turns and curls into itself
And I can display my heart to the world
Testifying on who the liquid gold belongs to
And how happy and full and secure I am because of Him.
It's not about who or what caused the cracks.
I have to focus on the One who can fill it back up.
So I lift my hands to Him,
I take the words of negativity and doubt from my lips,
And Lord, if I mess up,
Please divert me back to being faithful and hopeful on your truth.
I'm not perfect Lord.
I have a cracked heart, and I want it to be filled by You.
