Superhero.

by kerryjohnstone

I’m a super hero in my own right Beneath my clothes a six colour rainbow hides.

I will shoot across the sky touching the stars and circling the sun. I will fly so close I feel the heat on my face. I know I won’t burn because I’m ready for my dreams.

I know who I am and No church or cathedral or homophobe is going to take that from me.

A year ago I took a blade to my wrist I started to carve out the will of my oppressor.

…He was My own conscience.

I constantly felt like it was wrong to be who I was. I hid from everyone.

My passions and dreams bled out through the silk skin, I emptied myself of everything I hoped and dreamed for. In the space of only six months I became a shell Of who I once was

But now…

I’m a super hero in my own right

Beneath my clothes a six colour rainbow hides.

I will shoot across the sky touching the stars and circling the sun. I will fly so close I feel the heat on my face. I know I won’t burn because I’m ready for my dreams.

I know who I am and No church or cathedral or homophobe is going to make this Fabulous, Bad ass, gay as hell Mother fucker hide who she really is!
