He built her a house But she tore it down
Until the glass table was shattered by her dancing stilettos and the mirrors were stained by her lipstick and the very ceiling itself wept upon her entry.
She crushed his canopy. She smashed his love.
Yet she continued to dance on the shards of the table since she had no conception of the damage and with every stab she marred his heart further.
He repaired the glass. He rebuilt the roof.
And when she came to her senses and saw that she was without a home he welcomed her inside.
