I am neither here or there, neither up or down, just too far fallen and you are gone. It is me, alone.

Alone With Me

You are all here, so why do you feel so far away?

It is like I walk this world as a ghost, a mere existence of your presence.

I walk right past you, I walk right through you, I circle you.

I whisper, you do not hear.

I speak louder, still nothing.

I scream, your hairs stand on edge.

I cry, you hairs lie flat.

What else can I do?

I need you.

I need you to feel me.

Take some of my emptiness and fill it with something else.

Walk with me, next to me.

Take my hand and do it with me.

Do it with me the whole way.

Whisper back to me a sweet essence of your presence and bring me through so I am alive and not no more then.

Speak so I know it is okay.

Scream all of my nightmares away for me.

Dry my wet cheeks with your warmth, and replace the damp and cold in my eyes with a glimpse of you.

What else can I do?

You are all here and I just need some of you, one of you.

Anyone. Everything.

So move closer, not away.

I will not need this forever, I promise.

Just get me to the other side, the darkness is scaring me.

I cannot overcome it.

For I am up here and you are down there, and I am too far fallen.
