Now I wished I had never opened that tempting parcel.

The parcel sat wrapped up on the shelf. It begged my to open it, but I knew better, my mother had put it there herself.

If I opened it I knew my mother would kill me. But could I just leave it be?

My impulses dwindling I picked up the parcel. I tore into the paper my thoughts still impartial.

I yelled as I dropped it to the floor the contents causing me to startle. Now I wished I had never opened that tempting parcel.
