Eyes

by justshutupxd

When they met

She looked into his eyes

She felt like he could

See through her lies.

She knew she didn't

Have to hide.

He gave her breath

He gave her life

He made her feel

All good inside

She thinks about the past

It makes her want to cry

Then she remembers his smile

And wipes unfallen tears from her eyes

She tells him about the hurt inside

It makes him hate his okay life

The love of his life

Dying inside

As he can only look into her eyes

This was a dandy emotional roller coaster. The way you set your verses was ingenious. The "plot" of the poem was tender and tearful at the same time. This was one of those rare piquantly engaging poems. Great poem!!!!
