Harry shuffled the deck of cards and pushed it across the table. "Deal," he said.
"One more hand," I agreed.
It was a way to pass the time. More importantly,
It was a way to avoid talking about any drama and all the things harry was into,
It was a way to avoid talking about any drama and all the things harry was into, like gang violence and street life.
I knew the moment that I would address it, he would soon try to allure me in with all his temptations he had up his sleeve
So talking to him is like walking on eggshells...
Soon enough, I thought to myself,
"Why am I so afraid of what's up his sleeve?
The one who is in me is greater than he who is in the world."
He overcame the world. There is nothing to fear for it is written,
God did not give us a spirit of fear but of courage love and a sound mind!
As I continue to meditate and contemplate internally the Biblical truth of my stance against evil,
I wasn't so afraid to confront the darkness. No, in fact, I became eager!
Because only perfect love cast out fear and everything in the dark must be brought to light.
Light can not be overcome by darkness.
"I am the light of the world."
"Though the thief came to kill steal and destroy he came to bring life so we may have a life to the full."
"Be afraid of nothing for he is with me."
"So harry, What was the last thing you said?
I zoned out for a bit."
