As a Christian, do you really follow the traditions of this world and man? Christmas is one of them.

A Christmas Story (The Lie)

A young boy was told from birth about Christmas and Santa Clause and all that he does. He practices it every year and Santa gives him gifts and puts him on the nice list every year.

The boy was always happy to be on the nice list even though he did some things in the year that were not so nice. After many years he took his last breath and died.

When he was judged he was condemned to hell for eternity. The boy did not understand. He was always on the nice list and practiced what his parents told.

Doesn't Santa judge who is naughty or nice and who is good and bad? He saw me when I was sleeping and when I was awake. Sorry, that is what God does.

The world, even atheists, practice the lie of Christmas. We do not know when Jesus was born.

Celebrate his birth, we all should, but why on that day and do the traditions of the world? Here is some similarities for you.

“He sees you when you're sleeping. He knows when you're awake. He knows if you've been bad or good.

” Here is what Proverbs 15:3 says, "The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good."

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! Thy leaves are so unchanging; O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! Much pleasure thou can'st give me.

Sound familiar? If you were listening, that sin is called idolatry. 1 John 5:21 says, "Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen." Idolaters do no inherit the kingdom of Christ and God.

Ephesians 5:5 says, "For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God."

Tell your children the truth and lead them in the way they should go.
