-Fighting Spirit-

Hey Brother,

Hey Brother, I know it's been a while and I have not forgotten,

Our nights in mud and pouring rain

Our nights in mud and pouring rain The shots fired, and laughs never dire

Our conversations over cigarettes, & the girls we loved

Winning victories, despite the odds

Winning victories, despite the odds Charging deaths, and bunkered nights

Winning victories, despite the odds Charging deaths, and bunkered nights The price paid, and the sacrifices earned

I feel you charging, forward with me

Within each passing day You comfort my nightmares

Within each passing day You comfort my nightmares Death never option, I live in your honor.

I honor you,

I honor you, You might be gone but never forgotten

In the USA we celebrate Memorial Day. It is a special day for me, for I remember all those who came and went. Died during the battle within themselves or paid the ultimate price for freedom. I salute you! Thank you for reading 🙏😊💕 -All Best, Jerez
