And then there were none

by jennygoh

I am

But a feather

My youth gone

Like flowers withered

I seek

What lies yonder

And found my

Heart still beats tender

Hi Sydney, yes he is slowly getting better. He had a stroke (and he is 28 only). I do take things for granted too. So yeah, timely reminder that we need to treasure our life (as cliche as it sounds).

Thank you :) I wasn't sure what inspired me, but it could have been my friend who is sick lying in hospital. Life is so fragile, it makes us feel like giving up sometimes, but at the end of the day many of us still find the courage to carry on. We will still perish, but our hearts never stopped beating. And that, I think, is really life.
