Pity falls down my back like a piece of ice hits the Summer cement. It’s hot, humid and melts into water in mere seconds.
In those mere seconds pity will set off a fire inside me. I may have fallen, but I am not frozen. The ice sculpture that once surrounded my heart from anger has now melted.
I may be a bit different today, my life will never be, so I am simply unique. So please don’t look at me with pity as my heart is beating, loving and I am alive!
So please, please don’t let pity fall from your tongue as I am a Survivor!
