In the old forests there lay Great aged secrets Folk dance the morris

Nature impeached us The branches reach thus to Light Aged timber strong

And retained in night So as to shelter from storms Weary eyes in light

Then sheltered by leaves So as to fight the good fight Nurture a fine plight

The forest forewarns saplings Can form mighty oaks And roses have thorns
