Behind the cloak and dagger hides A grinning smile that grimacing snide
A poem about bullies and their imminent demise
Episode 3 in the anti-bullying campaign.

A Bullies Just desserts

Behind the cloak and dagger hides

A grinning smile that grimacing snide

Actions and words uttered absent of pride

By the ones that claim to be at your side

Take refuge in power of the tide

For it turns and changes and topples and turns

And like the words they said to you one day they will burn

Themselves in their self-realisation

Of what they've done to you and others

And wish they were another

For there comes a day when all mature

And all words uttered evil and pure

Are remembered once more

And they look in the mirror and realise what they never saw

An ugly character of malicious veneer

Their own voice they begin to hear

The tears of the weak echo here

In the chasm of the realising mind

A bully has a self to find

And a loneliness that binds

For a wicked tongue has no rest nor sanctity

Self-punishment washes over one day for their profanity.

It may not be today, it may not be tomorrow

But the sorrow that has been released

Kama and self-reflection

Will return a conscience to this beast.
