How “Let It Go” & “Move On” is the Worst Advice You Could Give Someone

by jamieenglishorg

When I hear people say “let it go” or “move on”..

it gets on my nerves…seriously. If that’s the best you can come up with when giving advice to someone then I’d advise you to just say nothing .

“let it go” doesn’t tell a person what they need to do..

There are no instructions. There are no paths to success with this advice so it has no purpose or value. That’s why I heavily promote only seeking wise counsel when you are going through somethin

The wrong advice from a person unqualified to help you..

..can set you back.Wise advice from a qualified person can catapult you to the next level of your life.

Final Thoughts

Work on helping people to find a better solution for their issue and walk them through the steps to solve their problem instead of brushing it off with passive advice.

The advice you give to someone can change their lives..

make sure you are always giving wise advice. If you don’t feel qualified to for that yet, then just keep on living and learn from your mistakes..

you’ll get there but in the meantime keep your mouth closed.

I love this. This is SO true and often times what we say to people when we don't understand what they're going through or how hard things really are
