Ramblings while listening to Holocene

I could see for miles miles miles

by isabellathena

It's 12:13

The song that's playing is so faint

But it's enough

Everything I have forgot

The way his lips feel

I could kiss them right now

But it wouldn't be as real as my memories

I wish I could tell everyone I love them

Wish my father was sane

I can hear rain outside

I'm glad my piece of things is small

Because if it was larger it wouldn't fit

The feeling of water on my feet

I could freeze this moment

I feel more then I have in months

I can see for miles miles miles

I sometimes wonder how you are

I think I'm going to sleep now

I hope I remember this feeling in the morning

@bernardtwindwil I thought I deleted this poem after I posted it! I am glad now that didn't go through. Thank you so much!

I loved it. This was sensitive and sweetly sad. The scene you conveyed is something common to most people. Great Job!!!
