COVID19 - Sharing is Caring

So, I sit here with a really inflammed shoulder - autumn is still arriving irregardless of corona or covid-19 - the trees & clouds are still baying & bowing to each other,

each has respect towards their space, task, responsibility & so on - while admiring humans & their tendency to just being a complete ignorant to one another , I thought, having to

escape war 20 years ago,

being homeless at one stage & to live with a low immune system due to donating my kidney to my mother (which is why my hygiene level has always been too often classified even to my friends

as " a clean freak " - / here's to the things we do not know yet easily define based on a mere surface of fallacy (which perhaps I will discuss it another time)

So I said to my mother, how when one has yet being confronted before with such a thing [to live in fear not knowing what will happen next], they seek for answers- the thing here is ,

where is the right people or source for that answer is not really being looked at completely due to panic

Which means

always LISTEN & LOOK OUT FOR THE ACCURATE & RELEVANT SOURCE

not just some random joe.google.com or jane.yahoo.com

sometimes even news EXAGGERATES things let alone your next door neighbour

GO TO ACCURATE SOURCES: world health organization for example

So my take on this is that, I use my own logic from 20 years ago

NECESSITY if

it's aught to be the end or short period of the end

The thing I learned more after

NECESSITY is

NOT to PANIC

because when we panic, we lowered our immune system and thus also lowering our brain to think for solution

(trust me, it may not be covid-19 i went through but to watch my people being macheted, stabbed & shot during the war, your fear turns into its own self defense,

that you will want to defend yourself and won't want to die, or be a victim [but each to their own, as that was precisely most of us leftovers were thinking to fight back])

1. Forget the toilet paper - wash your ass, no water start cutting pieces of your old clothes and clean yourself with that. There are leaves too & they also contain bits of water.

There is also serviettes, wet wipes which people often overlooked & are still full on the shelves.

2. Basic food list:

- cans (long lasting)

- powdered milk

(long lasting and dont need fridge to store it in case there is no electricity

- Noodles, pasta, rice

- frozen veggies, potatoes etc

- other powdered drink, like milo, ovaltine etc

- biscuits , dry food that can be stored

(anything else, feel free to add on the reblog or replies)

3. Basic water saving

get containers, plastic container & fill the water up while you

still have it available

start washing up, minimize things to a small amount of just

a plate, spoon and cup per person then it will not fill up with smelly stuff that will create more bacteria and virus when water suddenly runs out (including your clothes,

linens too - take advantage on what's still available instead of focusing on what's missing or what had run out)

4. Basic light preparation if electricity is out

Torch (get the rewind one) no need for battery

Solar lights (don't be greedy & take it off of the shelves. Count your rooms & dining or most used area & used it for the times when candles are not enough light)

Candles of course

5. Basic hygiene while water & electricity is still on

- wash your dishes, minimize (as above no.3) - & your laundry

imagine when the electricity is off and water too and you need

clothes and dishes and they're uncared for because you were too

preoccupied with what the neighbour is saying -

ALWAYS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WHAT YOU HAVE or STILL HAVE

BEFORE IT BECOMES LIMITED

6.

On lock down or feel as if it's going to happen then spend those time with your family,

truly I would love to just kiss my gf or hold her hands and talk about what we will do once this whole thing is over.

I would love to share more thoughts with my parents,

call my friends and tell them I miss them and be more present than just be jumping on a bandwagon eyeing out for what's on stock when you could simply use that time to finally just endure

it with the family

7. Be helpful still. Yes we are avoiding contacts but that does not mean that we are going to be greedy.

If someone knock on my door for milk I will still spare some - (during the war, we might not have anything, but we still sit by the bonfire and share meals - ) I know this is different,

we are not going to share meal by the same fire, but we can still share a small part of our humanness to light someone else's fire

8.Be in touch with yourself. Meditate. Ask your god, you, or whomever you believe, the universe, whichever, for peace not for chaos within the mind but peace.

Despite the havoc outside, we must always remain or try to remain calm.

( as I said, focus on what you have right now before it becomes limited )

9. Be safe , be genuinely sincere , be generously kind & I hope you well -

(I do not want to die as a hero, but as decent person is enough) So by being decent we shall share, how to survive, or how to stay sane during this period of time -

10. Sending you love & healing: multiply it , only with pure intention
