A picture is worth a thousand words

New Mexico

Author's note: I went to New Mexico this weekend for my grandpa's funeral. It was hard but I'm so glad I went. I was able to be there for my mom when she was hurting because her dad had died so suddenly. And when she was overwhelmed with planning the service.

We went to his properties to see what he left behind. He loved collecting on old cars and was always planning on restoring them. But he never did. He was able to, as he was very handy and good at fixing things, but on one property alone there are about 280 cars in various states of disrepair.

So it was too much for him to work on all of them. Where do you even start? It was really cool, though, to see all the old cars and stuff he collected. I was able to take many unique pictures(which are the pictures in this post).

I want to thank all of you for your support and for reading, liking, commenting on my posts and for following me. It means so much that I've found such a loving and accepting community on Commaful.

Keep writing and inspiring each other and know I'm here for anyone who needs to talk. Love, sam <3
