You are we

by hannahgaleschic

Who are we?

My body isn't me

It's a place where I was forced to reside

The only place I am able to run from myself and hide

The final stop where I wait to be released to the sky.

An unsafe place where I wonder what happens when I die

Something that's foreign and cold when it starts to cry.

I'm in here really confused with no way to know why

This was a beautifully written piece. You show great sensitivity to what many people call the mind-body dichotomy. The development of a Weltanschauung during the period of early adulthood helps one to accept the elements of personhood. Your wording was exquisitely revealing. Your deep thoughts were honestly expressed. Great post!!!~!
