The Difference

by hannahdycus

and you hear that

death doesn't discriminate against the color of your skin or the people you love

but the killers do

and is there really a difference?

because death is finding us

leaving only the "perfect" and we are shouting for help

but you are sitting there

ignoring our cries and crying drawn-on tears at our funerals

because, as you say,

there's no discrimination with death

"but the killers do and is there really a difference?" And there you have it. The truth the deep down cut through all the bullshit truth. This was a major think piece for me. Your words are stirring. I do know the danger that lurks in evil souls. I wish I could protect every person from that evil but, I can't.
