Free Fall

by hannahdycus

You know the feeling of loving someone so much that you are suddenly afraid to die

because you would never hurt them like that you could never force those awful feelings onto them

Well, now I can't stand on the edge of a cliff with my arms thrown out with the wind blowing my hair all around my face

now I can't dream of the falling the falling, seemingly endless

I now need you your guiding hand in mine

keeping me tethered, keeping me on solid ground

and, sure, there's still a free fall but now there's a much sweeter end

Darling Hannah, you just nailed my whole reason for holding on with all this pain that I have to ignore. With most parts not working like they are supposed to. But dying is not an option though it would be peace. I have all you young'uns of commaful. My grandchildren and my wife of 42 years. I am willing to go through anything to avoid hurting them. Great post!!!!
