Everyone in the world dies.
Some may expect it, and others never saw it coming.
We’ve all seen a death.
Whether it’s a loved one, or the girl you met at a coffee shop.
It always hits hard. It always gives you that heart-wrenching feeling.
Bodies may deteriorate over time, but spirits last forever.
They could be dancing on the clouds during an explosive thunderstorm.
Or, they could be wandering around the alive; Hopelessly reminiscing the life they have lived.
So which is the hardest to get over? An intentional death, or an accidental death?
Truth is, both kinds have the same effect on the people who cared for them.
All of the moments spent mourning haunt them.
Every memory that was made plays like a movie in their mind.
Every tear shed is an escape for their feelings inside.
Sometimes, when you’re out and about, you can almost feel their spirit right beside you.
Watching you with pain in their eyes.
Or maybe they’re rushing towards you at lightning speed, but all you feel is a blast of cool air.
It’s almost frightening, in a way.
You could be standing alone in the middle of a field, and their spirit would be directly in front of you; Gazing into your eyes with their ghostly stare.
Every millisecond, every minute, every hour, every day, thousands of people pass away.
And you just refuse to believe the truth, no matter how many times you repeat it.
Dead. Gone. Dead.
Dead. Gone. Dead. Gone.
Dead. Gone. Dead. Gone. Dead.
Dead. Gone. Dead. Gone. Dead. Gone.
Dead. Gone. Dead. Gone. Dead. Gone. But never forgotten.
