My heart is like a sponge,
It stores in my juicy secrets.
When it squeezes, the water plunges,
I wish I could, but I just can't keep it.
My feelings I try to hide,
I try to store them in my squishy sponge I call a heart.
I just can't seem to keep them inside,
It tares me to shreds and I want to fall apart.
It stores in until it reaches full capacity,
When it spills and gushes out.
When your heart is full of secrecy,
Your mind is also filled with doubt.
I try to relax and stay still breathing,
My brain is filled will words, but my mouth just can't speak it.
My heart wants to explode but it just keeps beating,
For now I just sit here waiting before I explode with my heart full of secrets.
