A Day Without TV

Awoke to the morning, didn't turn the TV on,

The world seemed like a place to belong,

breathed the air & filled my lungs,

With an optimistic sigh, the day would be owned,

Bird song in the breeze, no compulsion to please,

Like steps in virgin snow, I let uncertainty flow,

Free from guidance, fear or influence, inner peace begins to grow,

Every face is a friend without judgement,

A smile on a face with no intent.

know not of their troubles, opinions or contempt,

For living in peace where a mind is content,

Do not impose or attempt to convert,

For each to their own is a quiet lament.

A day without TV,

A day to be free...
