The depth of the sea

by Gloria1102

Do you ever wonder while walking on the shore about perception?

Looking at the sea always makes me wrap my mind around it.

I use sea as a perfect example. With your bare eyes you can see the surface, but there's so much more to it that we don't see when we throw a glance at it.

The nature itself is a good example of the nature of people.

We're so easy on making presumtions about others that we miss the whole background holding the great story about someone over the smallest detail that intrigues our mind at the moment.

We humans are funny creatures.

Just like divers that explore the sea, we have the opportunity of seeing such incredible beauty that's right in front of us the whole time, but only a few take that chance.

That's why I simply advise you...

Go ahead, take a chance and make the difference.

This is a wonderful poem. Your use of the see as a metaphor for human interaction while not new was unique by calling forth the divers. Your divers of the soul. Great poem!!!
