A poem on emotions.

Anger

by glennhenley

Anger comes swift with the breeze As the backdoor slams behind me Pain stretched in the lines of my face Sorrow, hurt, a fall from grace

They're gone, all gone Friends, family, I'm all alone My hard work led to nothing at all Sitting here and feeling so small

Anger at the lies of someone I called my friend Will not help me now I'm at the end Can I pick up the pieces and build a new life? Can I fix my broken heart and learn to survive?

Wonderful poem! Anger is an apt title for this, though some others could relate to this just as well if you'd called it sorrow.

@tdog16 Thank you so much! I was imagining the feelings someone whose world had ended in a way would feel.

Wow! Absolutely stunning! You swirled so much emotion in such little time.
