For my love

Ashen

From shadows you take me, A saviour in kind, Of worlds built to break thee, A warmth at my side.

A breath taken from me, Once mine, now yours, My ardour now broken free, From ashes, it pours.

Rising inside me I cannot resist, Of love lost, dead or forgotten, My mind, my body, my soul they insist, For you, I am besotten.

Broken, I lay from years rife with conflicts, I know that your here, to mend me, to fix.

I hope you enjoyed this short poem. Please leave a like or comment if you feel it deserves it, and if you like follow me for more tales.
