Haiku/Tanka/Lune of the Day (10.06.2018)

Special thanks to @debadityadutta for feeling inspired by my haiku's :)

My hope is that you keep writing them and others may join in as well

Headspring

Trying something new for my 'Haiku of the Day' series: I'm going to be adding in two other poetic forms: Lunes and Tankas.

These are similar to haiku's with some minor differences I'll show on the next slide. **It is important I note that much of what I'm writing does not 100% follow the traditional Japanese way of writing in these forms. Rules shmules though, am I right??**

Haiku: 3 lines divided into five, seven, and five syllables Lune: 3 lines divided into five, three, and five syllables Tanka: 5 lines divided into five, seven, five, seven, and seven syllables

Where the salmon swim

Where the salmon swim upstream you will discover

Where the salmon swim upstream you will discover the source is up there

Where the salmon swim upstream you will discover the source is up there Go in the showers from whence

Where the salmon swim upstream you will discover the source is up there Go in the showers from whence they came to find your answers

Special thanks to @debadityadutta for feeling inspired by my haiku's :) My hope is that you keep writing them and others may join in as well
