“So, how was it?”
“Three minutes,” I replied.
I’m in a dark filthy room, a basement under the subways, also known as the K.H. -----Killer Headquarters.
“What about the scene?” A black figure sat on a blood red couch.
“Easy, everyone will think stabbed himself with a knife and killed whoever was there to stop him,” I replied. “He’s quite insane, you know. Been to the hospital eight times this week.”
“Anything you’ve left there?” asked the black figure.
I sighed, “M, if you keep asking me these stupid questions, I’ll smash your head with a hammer.”
I gave him my dirty watch.
He tossed it to a woman standing next to him, sorting out papers. She caught it, and frowned. “I’m not your assistant, Mocker.”
M smiled. “Destroy that and give my favorite killer a new one, Sabrina,” he said. “This young talented killer needs a long rest.”
Sabrina frowned again, but didn’t say anything.
“Here,” she gave me my new watch. “It comes with a tracking system.”
I nodded. “Thanks,” I said and started walking out the door.
“Where are you going?” Sabrina called after me.
I turned around. “I’m going to Skylar’s. She’s having lunch with me and Derek.”
Sabrina nodded. “Since you’ll be meeting her, can you drop off a few papers for me? And tell her I need the DNA results by Friday.”
“Sure,” I waved to her as I walked out the door.
