We all have them and we all have to endure them

by floralfriend

There are demons within my head

They run rapid and wish me dead

They're getting close

It fills me only with dread

Nothing left of my sanity

Only a shred

Dragging me down

I feel as heavy as lead

Their pain is becoming widespread

As demons run wild in my head I realize

These things are best left unsaid

It's unfortunate you have to leave it unsaid. Except, apparently, in your poetry.
