Interview Part 8!!

Hey! I'm back with another interview!! So today we have someone who can stitch stories You have probably guessed it but today we have the incredible....

@stitchastory

Hey, @stitchastory! Welcome to my interview!

Hi! Thank you for having me :)

For my first question to you, what is your writing Kryptonite?

Hmm...I don't know. Perhaps pieces with really random topics on Commaful. Or ones where you have to put in a line someone else gives.

Oh, that's so relatable! :)

Oh, that's so relatable! :) Next, if magic was real, what spell would you try to learn first?

A spell that lets me absorb information. There's this show called Charmed (the old one, not the new one). But there is a spell that let one of the main characters hold her hand over a book and just absorb all the info in it. I would want that.

That would be so cool! It would be helpful in exams too XD

It would be helpful with pretty much everything. I would start with practical spells first and then just random ones I want.

Haha, yes!

This question has been bugging me for years, have come to you for answers XD Why do we say “heads up” when we actually duck?

Because it is to notify the person something is coming. We duck to get out of it. It's like when golfers say fore

Because it is to notify the person something is coming. We duck to get out of it. It's like when golfers say fore Like heads up as in lookup so you don't get hit

Ohh! Right, why didn't I think of that before?!

I'm always glad when someone says heads up though. But I always end up looking up kind of late XD

Lol! Me too, I almost every time end up getting hurt

Lol! Me too, I almost every time end up getting hurt Another writing themed question, how many hours a day do you write?

Maybe 4. I write kind of scattered. So maybe like 15 minutes and then break or do something else and then come back to it when I feel something. Sitting and trying to get something on the paper or computer does not work most times

Wow! 4 hours is so cool!

I guessed four. It is hard to say. I am the type to just take out my phone when an idea hits and write a scene really quick so I don't forget.

Ohh! That's actually pretty logical! I've never thought of that...I'm gonna try that!

Ohh! That's actually pretty logical! I've never thought of that...I'm gonna try that! Q5. What’s the funniest joke you know by heart?

I can't think of one right now. I love hearing jokes but I'm not good at telling them. I might have to get back to you on that.

Oh, That's okay!

Do you have a joke for me?

Ah, well, not really...

No worries :). Watch! After this, we will both think of some

Sure!! :D

Sure!! :D Lastly, what other commafulian are you best friends with, and how do they help you become a better writer?

I would say I am friends with @bookishmuggle. There are a few other great writers on here too, but I probably talk to her the most. As far as how others on Commaful helped me become a better writer, I would say through motivation. Kind of like, seeing other people write and reading their work motivates me to write more, especially when their style is really different than mine.

Ohh! I get motivated by reading stuff too! And everyone here cooperates with me, so I'm really happy about that!

That's good! Commaful overall is a welcoming community :)

Yep, It sure is!

I also admire people's level of detail in stories because I am always trying to work on that.

Oh yes, everyone has a speciality here, so learning from that is something I do every day

Thank you for coming to my interview! I had a great time with you! :)

Thank you for interviewing me :). It was great talking to you too. What would you say your speciality is?

I think I can Carve some emotion into the story I write.

I think I can Carve some emotion into the story I write. Well, that's what I feel!

You are good at that!

Aww, Thanks!

Here are the jokes we discussed later! :D

I had a dream where an evil queen forced me to eat a gigantic marshmallow. When I woke up, my pillow was gone.

Haha. I laughed at that one. That's pretty good!

Another one: A chubbier woman: Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all? Mirror: "Kindly move aside. I can't see anything."

Wow. I have not heard that. That's kind of mean. Clever though.

Here's one. What's a mummy's favourite genre of music?

Oh, I dunno

Wrap music

Wrap music XD

Goshhhhhh XDDDD

Goshhhhhh XDDDD Okay, once I start, I can't stop...Well, this is the last one I have.

Goshhhhhh XDDDD Okay, once I start, I can't stop...Well, this is the last one I have. Why did Mr. Hass refuse to move to France? The French are famous for not pronouncing the letter 'H'. XD

Lol! That's pretty good

So this was my interview with @stitchastory! They're a really fun person to be with, and her advice always helps! :) Go give them some love!!! Byeeeeeee
